The plant had been struggling to meet the increasing demand during peak hours, causing significant problems for residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address the issue, Fenaka Corporation implemented key initiatives to ensure an uninterrupted water supply. The company sent and installed a new borehole pump, which has now stabilized the water supply to Hithadhoo, Maradhoo, Maradhoo-Feydhoo, and Feydhoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure has launched a one-year upgrade project, handed over to MWSC, in consultation with government authorities. The project, costing MVR 282 million, aims to provide a permanent solution to Addu City&#8217;s water shortage by increasing the existing water storage facility tenfold.
