MNDF Southern Area Command alongside Fuvahmulah City Council has commenced a \u201cCommunity Volunteer Firefighter\u201d training program in Fuvahmulah City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are 17 participants in the program which has been scheduled for five days starting 24th<\/sup> February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The training program is held to train community volunteer firefighters and build the strength of firefighters among the community. The program seeks to expand the involvement of the community during incidents of fire and are trained to assist professional firefighters as well as first responders in saving lives and property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The program will cover topics such as causes of fire, firefighting methods, and use of firefighting equipment along with demonstrations.
