In a statement released today, Police advised people to not hold any activities to celebrate Christmas, a Christian holiday celebrated in connection with the New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Such activities are prohibited by the laws and regulations of the Maldives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
