The government of the Maldives has decided to prolong the opening of the “Dhonbandarainge Memorial Exhibition” as part of Huravi Day celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ‘Memorial Exhibition of Dhonbandarainge’ was opened on the occasion of this year’s Huravi Day by the Ministry of Language, Culture, and Heritage in partnership with the National Centre for the Protection of Cultural Heritage. Yesterday marked the final day of the exhibition’s opening, as it had previously been.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ministry said that the exhibition’s open date has been moved to December 24 in response to the public’s growing interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Except on Fridays, the exhibition will be open daily at the National Museum from 10 a.m. to 22 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some of the Dhonbandarain’s asars, several historically used weaponry, artefacts from the Dhonbandarais, his turban, actual sheilds, and money books from the Dhonbandaraine era are among the objects on display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
