The Criminal Court has ordered the remand of the man arrested in connection with holding people hostage in a house in Mal\u00e9 City, Maldives. The Court has also ordered to handover the child arrested in this case to his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said they received a tip-off that some people had been kidnapped at house on \u201cAbadhah Ufaa\u201d street in Henveiru and attended the scene following the information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said they attended to the incident and used force to enter the premises and rescued the hostages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Maldivian male below 18 years of age and another man were arrested in connection with the incident, said the Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The child below 18 years of age has been handed over to his family while the other man has been remanded for 15 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
