The \u201cHiyaathari Quran Competition 1444\u201d sponsored by the Maldives National Party (MNP) has concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The closing ceremony was held at Huravee School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the ceremony, the prizes to the winners were handed over by the president of MNP, Mohamed Nazim. Speaking at the ceremony, Nazim said that MNP supports the promotion of such religious activities. He also congratulated the winners of the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mariyam Imsha Shafiu, who won the first prize in the competition was awarded a medal, a trophy and an Umrah trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total of 160 participants took part in the tournament, which was held at Kamil Didi Primary School, Hulhumale Phase 2 from 12-15 April 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This included 84 female and 76 male participants. While the competition included both open and closed recitations, the participants were divided into five age groups. The age groups were Under 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the second tournament organized by H3’s admin group for the month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The winners were presented with medals, trophies and cash prizes by Vice Presidents of MNP, Ahmed Usham, Mohammed Shihab and Dunya Maumoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
