The participants of the forum were taught about the\nimportance of capital market in increasing the pace of economic development of\nthe Maldives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking at the forum, chief guest President Ibrahim Mohamed\nSolih mentioned that since Maldives is a developing country, development of the\ncapital market is crucial for the growth of the financial industry and the\neconomy as a whole.
