The high court has ruled in favour of the Addu city council over 35 land plots leased for housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the court, exchanging of housing land was plots was an acceptable decision made by the city council. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case was filed by 14 individuals in the high court. The high court stated that 7 of the land plots decision were acceptable while the remaining 7 land plots decision is not acceptable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The land plot issue came to light after the city council decide to exchange 35 housing land and to use the exchanged land for the hospital. It has been stated the new housing land would be given from the land plot near the stadium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
