As operations for SriLankan Airlines has commenced to Addu city after a 2 year hiatus, the ground agent for SriLankan Airlines, Ace Aviation\u2019s Managing Director, Mohamed Firag has stated that he hopes to be able to build a connection between Gan and Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking with the reporters at Today\u2019s ceremony in welcoming the first flight back to Gan, Firaq said, \u201cOur main focus would be to build a connection with Equope and help create a good connection with all accommodation establishments in South\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n He further highlighted on the importance of making Addu as a regional connecting point for other southern atolls starting with Laamu Atoll. The importance of this can be seen further given the limited number of resorts in Addu city.
