{"id":1429,"date":"2021-05-06T09:45:02","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T04:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aonews.mv\/en\/?p=1429"},"modified":"2021-05-06T09:45:30","modified_gmt":"2021-05-06T04:45:30","slug":"covid-19-hpa-increases-time-frame-of-curfew-in-greater-male-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aonews.mv\/en\/post-1429","title":{"rendered":"COVID-19: HPA Increases Time Frame of Curfew in Greater Mal\u00e9 Area"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) has decided to increase the time frame of the curfew imposed in the Greater Mal\u00e9 Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to HPA, effective from 06th May 2021, a curfew will be imposed in the Greater Mal\u00e9 Area (Mal\u00e9, Hulhumal\u00e9, Vilimal\u00e9) from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Yesterday, the curfew was imposed from 12 a.m. till 4. a.m. This is an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the area, said HPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HPA has said that the Maldives Police Service will continue to issue permits for essential travel such as delivery services and other essential needs during the curfew hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This decision comes after HPA strengthened the precautionary measures imposed on the Greater Mal\u00e9 Area, effective from 05th May 2021 till 15th May 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA) has decided to increase the time frame of the curfew imposed in the Greater Mal\u00e9 Area.
