The commission is an independent body mandated to govern the Broadcasting Act&#8217;s implementation (Law no.: 16\/2010).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After presenting Shifla with the Letter of Appointment today, President Solih met her and discussed pertinent issues related to the broadcasting sector. Shifla Ibrahim graduated with a Master of Arts in Journalism and Media Communications from the Islamic University of Maldives in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She started her journalism career in 1999 in Television Maldives as an Announcer trainee.
