Over 56,000 people have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine across the Maldives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA), a total of 6,171 people received the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday. Amongst these, 4,310 were vaccinated in the Greater Male’ Area, while 1,861 of the vaccinations are from the atolls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, so far a total of 56,218 people have received the Covid-19 vaccine across Maldives, including 43,838 in the Greater Male’ Area and 12,380 from the atolls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vaccine currently being used in the Maldives is the Covishield vaccine developed by the AstraZeneca-Oxford University, and manufactured by the Serum Institute of India.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
