Maldives has recorded over 17,000 cases of Covid-19 after an additional 192 people tested positive for the disease yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the latest statistics publicized by the Health Protection Agency of the Maldives (HPA), 154 from the Great Male’ region, 11 from inhabited islands and 27 people from operating resorts tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This brings the total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the Maldives up to 17,101.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
HPA’s statistics state the 192 positive cases were detected from 4,716 samples taken yesterday. A total of 442,549 samples, including repeated samples have been tested for Covid-19 up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
