Vice President of Maldives highlighted in his speech today at the opening ceremony of the International Teacher’s Conference that they are working on bringing drastic changes to improve the education system of Maldives .
The Vice President was given a guard of honor by the cadets of the senior schools in Addu City. This took place in front of the Maldives National University, Addu Campus.
In his speech at the ceremony, Vice President also highlighted the achievements in the educational field and about the importance of using the new curriculum. He also took examples from the educational field of Finland during his visit to that country.
He also noted that even though the curriculum is different in Finland compared to other countries, Finland has become world renowned for its educational system
The main purpose of this conference is to improve the international, national and local participation in the education field and also to create a platform to share the views of different people in this industry.
